StarBrite Dental will be Participating in the Special Olympics of Maryland

Inspiration Walk/Run 5K

StarBrite Dental will be at the Special Olympics Inspiration Walk/Run 5K on September the 29th at Georgetown Prep. Come join Starbrite Dental and help support the athletes of the Special Olympics of Maryland!

The Special Olympics will be holding its First Annual Inspiration Walk and 5K Run to benefit the athletes of the Special Olympics Maryland-Montgomery County. All walkers and runners alike are invited to come and support the Maryland Special Olympics Programs.

SOMO, or the Special Olympics of Maryland Organization, runs year round, offers 23 different sports and leadership programs in which almost 600 Athletes participate, and does all of it through private sponsorship.

As a Community Partner in the Special Olympics Maryland Organization Healthy Athletes Initiative, and to show our support we have formed Team StarBrite Dental to participate in the event and help fundraise for the SOMO programs.

Event Location: Georgetown Prep, 10900 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20852.

Date: Sunday Sept 29th, 2013

Registration is at 9am. It kicks off with the Inspiration walk around the “start field” at Georgetown Prep, followed by a 1500M walk/run, and then the 5k Cross Country Run. You can walk the Inspiration walk, and walk or run the 1500M, but have to run the 5k.

There will be activities, food and music for all while the 1500M and the 5K Run events are underway, and everyone can cheer the walkers/runners for Team Starbrite Dental as they cross the finish line! There will be awards for gold, silver and bronze finish (1st, 2nd and 3rd) in each category of the 1500M and the 5K Runs. This is an event you can bring your whole family to!
