How the DNA Appliance® Works
The DNA appliance®, backed by years of clinical research and testing, takes a revolutionary approach to correcting jaw and arch development in patients of all ages, including fully-matured adults.
This daytime-nighttime appliance gradually expands the palate and arches to further develop the patient’s jaw. Vivos® MRNA Appliance® Provider for Sleep Apnea
StarBrite Dental also provides the Vivos® mRNA appliance® for those Obstructive Sleep Apnea, a serious condition in which a person’s breathing pauses during sleep. Left untreated, sleep apnea can be life-threatening.
“MRNA” stands for “mandibular Repositioning-Nighttime Appliance.” The “mandibular” refers to your “mandible” or lower jaw. This device gently holds the lower jaw forward during sleep to temporarily keep the airway clear and enhance sleep.
Similar mandible advancement devices exist which hold the lower jaw forward during sleep.
